Today we are pleased to announce that the new player has joined the ranks of Windigo Gaming — the 19-year-old Bulgarian Valentin "poizon" Vasilev, who previously played for BPro Gaming. In the team, he will replace Nikolay "pNshr" Paunin, who will perform the duties of an analyst at the upcoming championships.
Poizon is one of the best young players in Bulgaria, performing at a very high level. We are confident that in the updated lineup Windigo Gaming will increase their firepower and will delight fans with bright performances. Today at 19:00 CEST poizon will oficially play with our team for the first time at DreamHack Open Winter 2018 Qualifier.
Comment from poizon:
I am so happy to join Windigo Gaming and wish my ex-teammates good luck. From now on i will work harder to achieve everything i dreamed for and prove myself as player.
Windigo Gaming CEO Maksym Bednarskyi comment:
After Poizon announced termination of his agreement with Bpro we’ve signed contract with him on legal basis because he doesn’t have any obligations. He is a very talented young player who can give us needed firepower to compete with T1 teams in the best tournaments. Hopefully we will soon become a stable major tournaments contender. Also we’ve prolonged other active team members contracts.
We are terminating contract with Nikolay Paunin by agreement of both parties, he will try himself out as our analyst for nearest tournaments. I would like personally to thank him for his time at Windigo as a player, he has never broke discipline, always made impact in game with supporting roles and clutches. He is a great person and I’m glad that we worked together this year.
